I have enjoyed my time in Mr.Moore’s Computer Science B. It has been a lot of fun and I have learned a lot of new things that can help me in my future classes and maybe even in a future job! I have learned how to insert pictures on my websites and how to make some pictures. Mr.Moore has also taught us how to make video type things and many other things like that. We have made and learned about so many blogs, glogs, and websites.

DeWitt Football Game
Sadly, DeWitt lost a huge game Saturday! They lost 44-27 against St.Mary. The DeWitt Panthers went home very upset about the game lost but happy about how far they got! to read more about the game go to this site!

Football Article About DeWitt!
I picked this article from the Lansing State Journal because I love football. This article is about my old school’s football team. I am very close to a few of DeWitt’s star players and i look up to them. I am very proud of them because of how far they have made it. They are a very good team, and getting better. I have faith that Saturday November 21,2009 Those boys will bring DeWitt another victory! I am going to the game and will blog about the score Monday! Board of Education Cuts
On this site, I read about how the Grand Ledge area is going to cut things because of the budget cuts. They are thinking about cutting sports and reconstructing schools. By reconstructing schools I mean that they are going to join schools together. They are also thinking about cutting the busses for the whole high school. I don’t think it would be fair to take the busses away from the high schoolers because some of them can’t drive, they can’t walk, and there parents can’t take them. So, how will they get to school?
I don’t think it is fair to take these things away from students. Some of these kids love the sports coaches they are cutting, and the students don’t know what they will do without these fantastic coaches and helpers. Without some of these fantastic coaches and instructors the students won’t be able to do as good as they did with the awesome coaches they are cutting. Some students will eventually just quit the sport without there old coach, that got cut.

Uniforms
I’m not too fond of uniforms for school because u have to wear the same thing every day! I want to a catholic school in kindergarten through 2nd grade, and we had to wear uniform every day! They were not fun but I saw them as equalizers. At my catholic school there were no clicks, or groups, and no one had to worry about being different. At public schools, like the one I’m at now, have groups and people that shun other people that they might not like so much. I felt that the uniforms we had to wear at my old catholic school made people not worry what they wore or what they looked like and i think that made the school years there more comfortable and stress free. So, I think uniforms can be good as equalizers but usually uniforms are not the cutest thing u have ever seen.

I chose this picture because my sister, my cousin, and I have this thing where we like to find street signs and put them in our room. One time my sister and my cousin found these two street signs in a store and they bought them! They sit in my room today! Sometimes my sister and I go shopping just to look for street signs!! It is really fun. My sister is hoping that when she go college that I will let her take the signs with her, but i might not.

President for a Day!
If I was President for a day i would change a lot of things about the economy, if I could. I would lower taxes and make people lower prices on goods. I don’t think I would enjoy being president unless I could paint the White House pink with lime green poka dots, but that isn’t realistic.

My life as a middle school student has been hard at times and confusing. I have not had many experiences at Hayes because I am new this year but the ones I have had have been good. I am always wondering what this year would have been like if I was still at my old school. Would I still have all my old school friends, would my life have been better, would I have amazing friends, are few of many questions that go through my mind everyday. My friends at Hayes would be gone if I never moved, I would have never meet them at all. I think moving have curved my personality and I would not be the same person to day without Hayes.

I think when i grow up that i would want to be a vet! I think it would be fun to be a zoologist and take care of all of the amazing animals but i don’t think that i would be able to find a job like that. My family is all for me going into doctor like things. I am so patient with animals, and I think vets just have fun at their jobs, playing with animals and stuff! I love animals!
